David has always been a huge fan of the singer-songwriter and in 2018 took on the role of Neil Sedaka in the six-month theatre tour of ‘Jukebox Heroes’.

He won “Best Male Singer” at the South Wales Entertainment Federation Awards and as well as his Sedaka tribute show. Featuring all the upbeat ‘doo-wop’ songs his show also includes the many stunning ballads written by Sedaka himself and it is quite possible that David is the only Neil Sedaka tribute act in the UK!

Shan’s House Band plays from 8pm, and the Tribute Act starts at 9pm till close.

Neil Sedaka started his singing career as a short-lived founding member of The Tokens in 1957, since then he has sold millions of records and written over 500 songs for himself and other artists.

The original composer and performer of (Is this the way to) Armadillo, as well as hits such as Laughter in the rain, Calendar Girl and Bad Blood Neil’s ranges from being one of the first teen pop sensations of the 50’s, a tunesmith for himself and other artists in the 60’s, an international superstar in the 70’s, remaining a constant force in writing and performing.
